Course Cancellation Policy
If the customer desires to cancel an Organization Sponsored contract course a written notice from the contracting authority is required. If the notice is dated and received 14 days or more before the scheduled start date, there is no cancellation penalty. If the notice is received within 14 days of the scheduled start date the customer will be charged a penalty of 50% of the contract price plus the cost of any course materials delivered to the customer. Normally, FedTrain does not ship domestic based course materials more than 14 days in advance of a course.
Students enrolled in Individual Enrollment Sessions (IES) may withdraw upon written notification to FedTrain within 30 days of the class date without a cancellation penalty. Thereafter, the full tuition fee will be forfeited. A complimentary voucher will be issued to the agency permitting the student, or a replacement, to attend subject to seating availability at a subsequent FedTrain session of that course at no additional tuition charge. The voucher expires 12 months from the date of issue.
